The role of government has grown tremendously over the past six decades (60 years). Actually, most of that growth took place between 1 and 145 during the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The major crisis of the period ?The Great Depression and WW II. The role of government has grown since after these events. Americans made a vow never again will we leave ourselves vulnerable to a depression or a military attack by another nation. The federal, state and local government spend about trillion a year. The use of government funds to purchase or provide certain goods to the public with some goods and services. The biggest purchase is defense spending, which accounts for 5 cents out of every dollar that goes into G (0 billion). Others are; education, police, health and highway construction. A tax may be defined as the private sector compulsory contribution to government spending. This is one of the major and most vital ways in which productive resources are transfer form private to the public sector. To NBC

I am writing to express my disappointment with NBC. As a consumer, NBC viewer and Employee of a Franchised Automobile dealership, I am outraged at your negative reporting on so many subjects. I want to voice my strong disappointment on your airing of NBC Dateline Investigation on car dealers. Its obvious that you and the media in general, like to take a few bad" situations on any given subject and make it look like the industry standard. In my dealer finance office the only practice that we adhere to is to assist the customers needs and fulfill there auto buying needs, in an business like manner and we fully disclose all finance options that are available to each and every client in their current credit situation.

When was the last time that you had a show on the 4 % of new car buyers who were satisfied with their dealership and the purchase? Even Consumer reports found high customer satisfaction at new car dealerships. When was the last time that you aired a show on consumer credit and how millions of consumers have below average credit causing them to be a greater credit risk and to pay higher rates due to their own negligence in taking due care with their finances and credit or the banking industry the has overwhelmed buyers with credit cards bringing Personal Debt to an all time high?

On a personal level I will do all I can to boycott NBC; I will encourage other individuals to stop watching NBC. Our corporation (three dealerships in two states) will boycott NBC and affiliates by pulling local advertising, urging the dealers associations, manufactures, suppliers and venders to do the same.

User Level vs. System Level

When a user-level program wants to get kernel services, it will issues a system call. (kernel call or supervisor call)

Next, the instruction will switch the process from user level to kernel level. (system level)

Here, the operating system will take over the control flow.

After examining the parameter given to the system call, the system call will be run.

Finally, the control is passed back to the user-level program and i.e. from kernel mode back to user level

You may look at /usr/src/linux/include/asm/unistd.h to see the listings of system calls

What is Kernel? Monolithic vs microkernel?

Generally, the operating system, as a running program, is called the kernel and have the four basic components as shown above.

A trend in modern OS is to implement more function in user level and leave a minimal kernel. (microkernel)

In Linux, all the components are kept inside kernel and so, it is not a microkernel structure. However, it is now moving to modules hierarchy, e.g. fs, mm, ...

Polanski's version of Macbeth is well interpretated and directed. The film is easy to follow and keeps the audience entertained.

He has an appropriate cast of actors who do a great acting job; bringing the characters to life and making the audience feel for these characters. Their accents are well suited and create the Elizabethan era. He chooses distinct costumes to show the level of importance of each character, making us perceive them in a certain way. For example, the witches' black attire is mysterious, hideous and evil. Another example is Polanski's choice on Lady Macbeth being naked in the scene where she is reliving Duncan's murder to illustrate her vulnerability. In the previous scenes she is portrayed as a strong character, unsexed, and wearing extravagant clothing. But in the end we see she is still human and feminine.

The music, lighting and special effects set the atmosphere and tone for the play, helping capture the audience's attention. The digestic and non digestic sound played during the witches' spells creates a scary feeling, producing a more realistic picture. The special effects also add to the horrific feeling making the scenes more terrifying and powerful. This film's mood is intensified by darkness, going from scary to wicked.

Polanski is very successful in creating his intended effect. The sound, music, and special effects are appropriate and set the audience into the right frame of mind. The audience is engaged by the constant change in costumes and actors. Polanski follows a different order than Shakespeare's Macbeth. This allows the film to be straightforward and less confusing. For example, the scene when the witches are casting their spell (act 4, scene 1), is combined with the scene where Macbeth goes to see the witches (act 4, scene ). Most of the editing dissolves. This is adequate, since it is easier to go from scene to scene. We also know when one of the characters has a soliloquy because he is aside and the camera is at eye level.

This antithesis between the awful certitude of will-driven instinct and the fancy-prone irresolution of human reason provides the animating tension of Hawk Roosting. The hooked head and hooked feet of the predator represent, like the human brain, organic objectifications of the rapacious will, but they are free from the falsifying dream that debilitates the brain and causes it to send delayed or faulty commands to the extremities by which it survives. One aspect of this dream is the tendency to construe surroundings aesthetically rather than strategically. Phenomena that we find pleasant or exhilarating - the high trees. . . . the airs buoyancy and the suns ray - are of advantage to the hawk in its hunt for prey. Schopenhauer finds enormous value in absorbed aesthetic contemplation precisely because it releases the contemplator, for the moment, from the stringent urgencies of will, enabling him or her to become the pure subject of will-less knowing and thus to be taken out of the stream of time and of all other relations (World 1 17). Hughess poem as aesthetic artifact embodies this phenomenon, but simultaneously subverts it by explicitly reinstating the ascendancy of the anticontemplative, aggressively immediate will. This is a point to which I will return later in considering Hughess artistic development in a Schopenhauerian light.

Shes skinny, perfectly proportioned-with beautiful hair, glowing skin, fabulous makeup, and the best clothes that money can buy. This is an ideal that majority of us strive to achieve. But it sets a standard that leaves most of us feeling inadequate and unsatisfied with the bodies that we have. Whatever our beliefs about the exploitation of women, we must all be aware that society - and especially the media - portray an image of women that is both unrealistic and potentially unhealthy for the vast majority of women.

The media encourages and mirrors the current mainstream cultures standards for body shape or size and importance of beauty. The media reflect images of thinness and link this image to other symbols of prestige, happiness, love and success for women. Repeated exposure to the thin ideal using the various media can lead to the internalization of this ideal. It also renders these images achievable and real. Until women are confronted with their own mirror images they will continue to measure themselves against an inhuman ideal.

Overwhelmed by media images of skinny models, young girls are growing up convinced that being thin is the key to love and acceptability. The average person sees between 400 and 600 ads per day, that is 40 million to 50 million by the time she is 60 years old. One of every 11 commercials has a direct message about beauty. The average American model is 5 foot ten, and 107 pounds. The average North American woman is 5 foot four and 14 pounds. So what we show is not what we really are, (Hertz). Experts say the best defense against eating disorders is high confidence, something teenagers greatly need. They also put importance on the significance of young girls evaluating themselves in different ways other than their weight and to recognize the images they see in the media are often unhealthy and impracticable.

A negative body image is a universal problem, a common struggle many of us share. To end the rotation of destruction, though, we must realize that even though others opinion of ourselves may have shaped and programmed our current ideals of the perfect body image, we are in control of our minds. We have the power to reshape these ideals into healthier and more positive ways of thinking about our bodies.

Please note that this sample paper on body image is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. In case you experience difficulties with writing a well structured and accurately composed paper on body image, we are here to assist you. The Baroque sculptor and architect Gian Lorenzo Bernini was born in Naples on December 7, 158 in Naples, son of the Florentine painter and sculptor Pietro Bernini. In 1605 Pietro Bernini, Angelica Galante, and Gian Lorenzo

Bernini moved to Rome. Bernini started making art at a very young age. According to Filippo Baldinucci Bernini made his first sculpture at the age of eight. From his Florentine father he inherited his innate facility in

wielding a chisel, in shaping stone as though it were as "malleable as wax" or "pliable as pasts"; perhaps it was from his Neapolitan mother that he derived his volcanic personality and dramatic flair- "fiery in temperament, constant in work, and passionate in his wrath," said Filippo's son Domenico (Scribner). Bernini spent years drawing copies of classical masterpieces

(Scribner). Carracci, Caravaggio, Laocoon, Pietro Bernini, and Michelangelo influenced Bernini.

Berninis first patron was the nephew of Pope Paul V, Cardinal Scipio Borghese, for whom he executed the four famous sculpture groups in the Borghese Gallery. The most famous of the four is his David. David defeated the giant Goliath with stone and a sling. There were artists before Bernini that took on the task of sculpting a David. The most considerable are Donatello, Verrocchio, and Michelangelo. Although they all sculpted David, the sculptures are drastically different from one another. Each one is unique in its own certain way.

Baroque art desired to evoke emotional states by appealing to the senses, often in dramatic ways, underlies its manifestations (ibiblio). Some of the qualities most frequently associated with the Baroque are grandeur, sensuous richness, drama, vitality, movement, tension, emotional exuberance, and a tendency to blur distinctions between the various arts (ibiblio). Many of these Baroque qualities are present in Bernini's David. Donatello and

Verrocchio depicted David at rest after he killed Goliath, Michelangelo, by contrast, presented David before the battle, with the tension and emotion evident in every vein and muscle. Bernini does not depict David before or

after the fight. Instead, he shows him in the process of the fight. This represents the element of time in his work. The views are forced to complete the action that David has begun for us.

The History of Television

Help with essay on telivision

6th Period

No single person can be credited with the invention of television, but several people have played key roles in its development. At the end of the 1th century, the idea of the television came about. Televisions began, based on the inventions and discoveries of many men and scientists.

The first generation of televisions was not entirely electronic. The display screen had a small motor with a spinning disc and a neon lamp, which made a blurry reddish-orange picture about half the size of a business card! The period before 15 is called the Mechanical Television Era. This kind of television is not comparible with todays electronic television system. The first working television, was invented by Paul Nipkow in 1884. The pictures were crude shadows.

On January , 16, John Logie Baird gave the world's first public demonstration of a mechanical television. These were images of human faces, not outlines, but with complete visuals of light and shade.

During the period between 15 and 140, electronic television was made. Several countries began broadcasting with limited numbers of TV-sets available.

World War-II stopped nearly all television broadcasting worldwide.

The time period after World War-II is considered the last and final birth of television. Families had increased savings during the war years, and were excited to buy televisions on the market. The explosion of sets into the American marketplace occurred in 148-14.

In the years 150-15, was an exciting time period for television. In the USA, black & white television exploded onto the scene in the beginning. Then years later came electronic color television, and then came remote controls. Then the public witnessed some styling changes and the introduction of transistorized television.

From the 1th century to the 1st, television has went through many changes, from your ½ inch screen to your 64 inch big screen, or from your console models to your flat screen models you can very easily see how far television has come over the years.

John Harding's decided to start a new play about the lost children as this topic was emerging as one of the most important and painful issues in the Australian community. Common in the human history, cultures due to racial superiority try to overcome the others and be the leaders. In this context, the white community in Australia undertook a policy to remove the aboriginal culture by assimilating the aboriginal with the white. Thus, the aboriginal children (as they are young and easy to model) were taken from their parent and placed in a special house. There they would have contact with the white people so that they would forget about their culture and also change their skin color (in generations their black skin will be vanished).

Therefore this play was formed to alert, inform and create a dialogue about the tragedy and suffering of the Aboriginal community.

The play talks about the life of five Aboriginal children, two males and three females, who are removed from their families against their will. These innocent representatives of the stolen generation are raised in an authoritarian children's home devoid of their own cultural traditions.

Initially the title for the play was 'Lost Children" but then it was replaced by "Stolen" as the community decided the children who were taken were not "lost" they were "stolen".

Indubitably, and among others, lost and identity are two of the themes if this play. If wee look in the dictionary the definition of

Loss it says the state of no loner having something or as much of something. The process that leads to this,

Death of a person;

Disadvantage that is caused when someday leaves or when a useful or valuable object is taken away; a person who causes a disadvantage by leaving;

Identity is who or what somebody/ something is;

The characteristics, feelings or beliefs that distinguish people from others.

Clearly we can find this definitions in the play.

Next, my fellows are going to discuss the way loss and identity are portrayed in the characters Sandy, Anne and Rubby. Each of the characters represents a group of persons that actually lived these experiences. Not all stolen children experienced or suffered the assimilation policy in the same way. Therefore Sandy, Anne and Rubby represent a crescent order of inner destruction from a relative possible life to a madness and suicide.

The "Clothed Maja" was painted by the Spanish painter Francisco Goya around 1805. The description in the room where this painting appeared stated that the woman that appears in this painting most likely the Duchess of Alba. Many believe that this work was commissioned for the Prime Minister of Spain at the time, Goday. Goya paints her in a way that expresses the beauty and sensuality of women. Goya painted a similar portrait, the "Naked Maja", which is also likely to be the Duchess of Alba. This painting, however, seems to be a lot less sacred and enchanting as the that of the "Clothed Maja." The Duchess of Alba is painting laying comfortably on a day bed, which is decorated in luxurious sheets and decorated pillows. The duchess is also shown wearing light, silky, elegant clothes. The way she lays on the bed makes demonstrates that there appears to be no tension throughout her entire body. The Duchess's smile is relaxed and portrays her as having no preoccupations whatsoever. Her mischievous yet subtle smile attracts her viewers to contemplate her own thoughts. In contrast to the "Naked Maja" the "Clothed Maja" is dressed elegantly so that her wealth is emphasized. Goya portrays this woman as beautiful, strong, and independent. Through the use of light, Goya emphasizes the Duchess beautiful dainty face, and the movement, which appears in her clothes. The use of delicate pastel colors compliments the serene scene in which Goya is trying to create. The pink sash contrasts with the white silk paints, and doing so, emphasizes the purity in her white clothes and brings out the pure expression on her face. The light jacket she wears over her outfit is also seems to be very typical item of clothing in Spain. The pillows and the bed sheets are painted with delicate soft strokes and include great detail of patterns and textures. The colors in the "Clothed Maja" are warmer and heavy while the colors in the "Naked Maja" are more mellow and gray. In the "Clothed Maja", Goya emphasizes the Duchess body and clothes, while in the "Naked Maja" Goya emphasizes the sheets, the day bed, and the background, by contrasting the pale dainty skin to the dark tones in the background. Many people believed that Goya and the Duchess of Alba might have had a secret love affair. This paining is quite simple and portrays the body and delicate emotions of a luxurious noble woman.

Nicholas Olsen

What's Eating Gilbert GrapeThe main message or idea of the film "What's Eating Gilbert Grape' I think is the ways in which people can either use their powers in a good way or the ways in which people can abuse their powers. There are several people in the film, which use and abuse their powers. I think that it is easy to work out the message as there are a lot of scenes with people using and abusing powers and the scenes in which people are doing this there easy to analyse. People like this, as they don't have to think too much about what's going on.

Cheap custom writing service can write essays on grape

The people that use and abuse their powers in this film are Gilbert, he use it positively in the scene where he gets Arnie down from the water tower, he abuses it by doing things such as leaving Arnie in the bath and by hitting him, the Mother use power to do good by getting arnie out of jail and choosing to risk her life to set the kids free, she abuse it by using her size to get what she wants, and it is shown in sexual relationships in a positive way between Gilbert and Becky, and in a negative way between Gilbert and Mrs Carver.

The scene that Gilbert gets Arnie down from the water tower starts off with a long shot of the water tower, the camera then zooms in and you can see a little object on the tower, which is Arnie. It starts off like that to emphasise the height of the tower. You then see Gilbert arrive at the tower where a small group of on lookers have gathered. The police are trying to get Arnie down by talking to him but he won't come down. Arnie starts making noises to attract attention. Gilbert then tries to get him down just by talking to him but it doesn't work. There are then some more long shots and shots looking down from the tower, once again just to emphasise the height of the tower. Arnie is then hanging off and saying 'I'm not going to fall', his shoe then falls off, this is done to build the suspense. Gilbert knows the only way to get him down is to humiliate himself, he sings "match in the gas tank boom boom", and this gets arnie down from the tower. Even though there is a little crowd gathered the people tend to not seem to care much. Gilbert tells the police this wont happen again, then Arnie says "this wont happen again" but straight after he says I want to go back up there. This shows he doesn't understand what he's doing. A kid then hits Arnie but Gilbert protects him.

Many nationalists wanted to break from the Austrian Empire. "In Austria, moreover, the struggle took place on the political, rather than the social plane." In March 1848 Austrian Empire itself seemed on the point of disintegration. During the revolution in Austria, the middle-class of the empire which was the bourgeoisies became disappointed with the Emperor, and this would lead to the discussion of ideas such as Enlightenment Reform and to reduce the amount of Socialism. Due to the cause that the people did not want to receive all the order which the emperor stated, the Introduction of the Doctrine of the Rights of Man was putted. This document contradicted the Emperors right to absolute rule. This document allowed the people of the Austrian Empire to question their form of government, which had fallen into disgrace under the rule of Ferdinand I. As stated before the revolutions were mostly about nationalism; the Rights of Man did not only reach the middle class, it reached the peasant class. This made the Revolution a bigger threat because now the middle-class has the "means" and the peasants had a big amount of people.

In a way the Austrian outbreak consisted of Conservatism, because middle-class was not very happy to have a revolution, they only wanted some slight reforms based on Enlightenment ideas. "When the Empires government did not live up to conservative expectations, the Revolution officially begun." Then on March 1, a Viennese mob of middle class radicals and students fought with the police and invaded the palace grounds. Metternich resigned and left the country, by March 15 Vienna, like Paris, had its barricades, and on that day the emperor promised a constitution and granted freedom of press. During the revolution of Austria "The acceptance of Russian support would weaken the Empire. Lands were given to Russia and the Empire lost its mystique as an unstoppable power. This would fuel the fall of the Hapsburg monarchy and soon the Austrian Empire itself" .In the Revolution of the Austrian Empire many occurrences occurred, however, the ideas behind them would remain popular and would influence the politics of Austrian territory for a long time; the nationalism was spread.

Vertigo

This film directed by Alfred Hitchcock was very powerful as well as intense. It made the audience feel a number of different emotions because of the element of suspense and thickening plot. The adjectives that would best describe this move would be grave, serious, tragic and heavy.

The opening credits of the film were eerie with the close up of a human eye and lots of flashing light. It hinted to the style and strange plot line of the rest of the film. The music in the film, especially during the action scenes was very loud and stark. It was defiantly noticeable to the viewer. This was evident especially when Scotty was having a dizzy spell because of heights, the music would race causing the audience to feel dizzy also. Almost every scene in the movie was clocked with some sort of shadow causing a heavy and serious effect. There was the use of strobe flashing lights and also read flashing lights as Scotty's mind flashed back and the whole story of Madeline is revealed to the audience. There is the horrible nightmare Scotty has with bight colors and shapes that are uncomfortable and frightening. The film was about a woman who was being possessed by here great grandmother who was mad. A story dealing with ghosts and the supernatural is not a light subject matter. Towards the end of the film it becomes apparent that there were no ghosts or possessions it was all a set up for a man to murder his wife. He had already broken her neck and then used Scotty and Madeline to get away with his crime. It was a sick and twisted way for him to escape with his money to Europe. It was a sad and heavy film because even though this film did have a love story within it, it was a tragic love story. Scotty was in love with Madeline and he blamed himself for her death because he could not get up to the top of the tower in time. However, the woman he loved did not exist. She was a hired actress. After he so call death he met the actress and because she looked like Madeline and he tried to love her too by changing her to look and act like his fantasy Madeline. When Scotty finally learned the truth about the set up, there was still a small chance he might learn to love her because he had fall in love with him. And then all hope was gone as she fell out the window because of guilt and fright. This was a horribly tragic and lonely ending. Another example of how this was a gray movie was the fact that Scotty who had Vertigo or the fear of heights had to witness three people die by falling to their death and he was present and did not have control over any of them, he was virtually powerless.

Beowulf vs. Grendel

The author of Beowulf goes to lengths to show Grendel as evil and monstrous and Beowulf as brave and heroic. The events leading up to the fight made me understand that Grendel is cursed by God, portrays demonic qualities, in turn create a desire for our hero to prevail. This led me to believe that Grendel is on a personal vendetta to kill anyone who stays at Heorot and that Beowulf is the only man who can destroy him. Since Grendel is a descendant of Cain he is also cursed and banished from society.

Like Cain, it is possible he is so enraged that he cannot be a part of this group that his mission in life is to kill them all. "…it was widely understood that as long as God disallowed it, the fiend could not bear them to his shadow-bourne."(pg. 1647, 705-7) Grendel continues to kill anyone who is part of society or the group at the mead hall. The author also points out that since Beowulf is a man, God will watch over him. In contrast, Grendel is some sort of evil creature and cursed by God. During the fight scene it is easy to envision Grendel as a creature rather than human.

When Grendel came to attack Heorot the doors flung open at his touch even though they were locked. He is shown as a hungry monster ready to devour his victims. Grendel is shown killing and eating the first guard he encountered. "…he grabbed and mauled a man on his bench, bit into his bone-lappings, bolted down his blood and gorged on him in lumps,…"(pg.1648, 740-) The descriptions make Grendel seem birdlike. Also, when he closes in on Beowulf and the author notes, "his talon was raised to attack Beowulf…"(pg. 1648, 745)

Grendel is shown as powerful but cowardice only attacking at night. This night would be much different since a man of superior power had come to rescue the city. Beowulf is not using weapons as a sign that he will fight the monster fairly. He is showing his bravery and strength through this heroic action. "No weapons, therefore, for either this night unarmed he shall face me if face me he dares."(pg.1647, 68-5) The heated battle between the two ends when Beowulf tears Grendel's arm off with his superhuman grip.

In conclusion, the author has created an excellent model of good versus evil. Grendel is connected to a line of murderers cursed by God. His demeanor is hellish and demonic. This allows the reader to relish in the thought of his death. Who better to do the impossible deed but our hero Beowulf who fatally kills the monster. He is our hero because he killed the enemy and saved the town.

Please note that this sample paper on Beowulf vs. Grendel is for your review only. VISITOR'S POLICY

This dialysis facility recognizes that family members and significant others frequently accompany patients to the facility particularly when other means of transportation are unavailable. Having visitors during dialysis treatments may add to a patient's care and comfort. However, visitors are prohibited from entering the treatment area particularly during the time that treatments are being initiated and terminated.

These restrictions are necessary to ensure the accurate preparation of the equipment and the safe and effective delivery of care to the patient, to maintain infection control and to prevent any accidental exposure of the visitor to bloodborne pathogens during the time s(he) is present in the treatment area.

Visitors are permitted to remain in the waiting room (no children under the age of 1 may be left in the waiting room unattended by an adult).

This policy will be reviewed with all patients at the time of their admission to the facility.

Certain behavioral and/or medical issues may arise with an individual patient that may require an exception to the facility's policy. The circumstances will be reviewed by the Director of Nursing, Administrator and Medical Director, who may grant an exception to policy for limited period of time. This exception will specify the days and time intervals that a patient's visitor may remain in the treatment area. This exception to policy will be documented in the progress notes of the patient's medical record by either the Medical Director or the Director of Nursing. The patient's need for the exception will be reviewed at least monthly.

The visitor will be given appropriate infection control training as well as a brief review of the dialysis procedure to assure that the visitor has at least a minimal understanding of what will be observed. Personal protective equipment will be provided if there is a likelihood that the visitor may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens during the time that he/she is in the treatment area.

To assure the comfort and safety of all patients, the Charge Nurse may at any time ask the visitor to leave the treatment area if an emergency arises or if there are complaints from other patients that the visitor's presence is interfering with their care.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Mozart was famous for writing beautiful music. He learned to play the piano, the violin, and write music since he was four. He has made some magnificent pieces when he was young and when he was old. He was born a musical genius. Mozart was important because he wrote the best music anyone had ever heard before. He played for royalty, in bars, and to well known musicians. He is different from other musicians because he was famous since he was four. He was one of the greatest composers in the world. Also, he was most known by people everywhere.

Mozart was born on January 7, 1756 in the town of Salzburg located in the Austrian mountains. He had a mom Anna Maria, a dad Leopold (who was a famous violinist), and an older sister Marianne (who was a musical genius too). Mozart's full name was Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophillus Amadeus Mozart. Sometimes they added a couple more names to it. Most people called him Wolferl for short. He got interested in music when his older sister played the piano. After her lessons little Mozart would start playing all by himself. He loved the sounds of the notes. When he was four his father taught him how to play the piano. He could write music before he could write words. Also, he wrote a piano solo at the age of five. It sounds very good.

Mozart only wrote classical music. It sounds delightful and peppy. Actually, it sounds like a party happening on the Titanic. It is sometimes fast, slow, loud, soft, and full of action. Some songs sound like an opera or an orchestra playing. Some of the famous pieces he wrote were Allegro, Aperto, Adagio, and Rondo. Mostly all of his music was famous.

Cheap Custom Essays on Mozart

Mozart was married to Constanze Weber. She was just like Mozart in many ways. He loved her so much. They had six children, but sadly only two lived to adulthood. He sometimes had problems like spending money too quickly and always in debt. Also, he was always ill some people didn't know if he would live. He died from kidney failure and malnutrition. He was writing a piece that a mysterious man in a black cloak told him to write. It was a sad lonely song. It sounded like it was his burial music. Yet he didn't quite finish it. The date was December 5, 171. He was only 5 years old.

I think Mozart was a great composer. He was one of the best in the world. I admire his non- stop hard working days. He only got four hours of sleep a night the rest of the day he spent all his time writing the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. And I'm not a classical music lover either. How could an ill man write such happy songs? I think he deserves to live and see how much deep down we like his music.

Please note that this sample paper on Mozart is for your review only. In order to eliminate any of the plagiarism issues, it is highly recommended that you do not use it for you own writing purposes. In case you experience difficulties with writing a well structured and accurately composed paper on Mozart, we are here to assist you. It is typical to think that the word honesty and the phrase being truthful seem to be the same. While the two are listed as synonyms and related closely in definition, there are however differences between the two. If you were to look up the meaning of truthfulness, you would see that it means "to be consistent in telling the truth and to be honest." In that same dictionary, the word honesty is defined as "the capacity or condition of being honest; integrity; trustworthiness." The only way to distinguish between the two would be to examine the connotations, since the definitions are nearly identical to one another.

The word truthfulness can be looked at as the more basic of the two, and it more or less implies to speak truthfully and predictably. An example of a truthful person would be a person who was asked a question and would tell the truth. That same person would face reality as it is and not spread lies. In looking at these definitions, even with their closeness, it is possible to be truthful and still not be trustworthy. You certainly could not trust a person who tells everything they know about every little circumstance or when asked the smallest question. By that same token, it is possible for an individual to be truthful and not completely lawful about matters or completely in the "right." An example of this would be someone who was involved in an illegal circumstance, and when asked about it, could only tell the truth up to a certain point. Not to say that the person being questioned wasn't constantly telling the truth, but just not the whole truth. Honesty, on the other hand, is the more complex of the two and covers a range of requirements that are much more broad. To possess honesty, one must be truthful, reliable, trustworthy, and open all at the same time. Honesty takes on the virtues of truthfulness and fills in the gaps. To be honest means you are willing to tell the truth even at the cost of a personal risk and that unconditionally you are open and truthful. Usually a person will tell the truth out of respect for themselves and even for others. A person who is honest is honest naturally and doesn't have to be asked to tell the truth.

Buy cheap hydroponics term paper

Though these two qualities share a common denotative meaning, honesty by far is the much more admirable feature, simply because of its difficulty to attain and maintain. Let us not forget, however, that honesty still cannot exist without truthfulness. Many of us strive to obtain the quality of honesty, but we must realize that it derives from our respect for others, including their feelings. Overall honesty speaks for one's character and improves relationships with others.
